Thor actress Natalie Portman has officially divorced her husband of 11 years Benjamin Millepied, with whom she shares two kids, after the couple split in the summer of last year

Natalie Portman has officially divorced her husband of 11 years, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, after the couple announced their separation last year. Natalie, 42, filed for divorce last July.

Benjamin, 46, choreographed the film and also played the role of David/Prince Siegfried. The French dancer married Natalie in 2012, the year after their son Aleph was born.View gallery Natalie has reportedly struggled throughout the separation period, with a friend telling PEOPLE magazine: "It was initially really tough for her, but her friends rallied around her and helped get her through the worst of it.

After marrying in 2012, the couple lived in Paris for some time while Millepied worked as the director of dance at the Paris Opera Ballet. However, the family moved to Los Angeles in 2016.
