Call The Midwife star Helen George gave fans a sneak peek inside the behind-the-scenes of filming the beloved BBC show as she posted throwback snaps from season 13.
During last week's season 13 finale, Trixie, played by Helen, made the decision to swap London for America in an attempt to fix her marriage to businessman Sir Matthew Aylward, played by Olly, following a dramatic phone call. The finale finished on a cliffhanger which questioned whether Trixie had shared her final goodbye to Nonnatus House, but she's reported to return to Poplar for season 14, which is expected to begin filming in spring.
The outing marked a significant milestone for the couple - who are rumoured to be together, after Olly split from his girlfriend Natasha Fagri after a seven year relationship and Helen separated from her husband, Jack Ashton in the same month. Captioning the candid pics, she wrote: "Season 13," followed by a love heart emoji. The photos showed character Trixie gracefully sat in a beach hut next to her on-screen family Jonty Aylward and husband Matthew.
