JG: Just as I was doing it, I was aware on some level that I was just taking a black crayon over my own image, but that kind of made me happy. I don't mind. One is a lady and one doesn't need to be spreading bodily anything. But sometimes, to make kids laugh, you'll do anything.
EM: I have a lot of food allergies, and substituting things doesn't really work. So it's just a pile of mush half the time. JG: I couldn't handle their lives. I know that for a fact! They work so hard, and just being at their school to serve lunch or work in the library or whatever it is that I'm doing for my older ones who are in high school, I cannot believe the energy it must just take socially to get through your day. Much less everything that they have to compute and the output of their daily work. I'm amazed by kids.
