On Sunday, February 25, Cashel Palace Hotel was the setting for an elegant “Race Day Ready” fashion showcase in collaboration with the Council of Irish Fashion Designers. Karen Fleming, Director of Sales at Cashel Palace, welcomed guests during a champagne reception which was followed by a traditional afternoon tea in The Ballroom.
Irish designers such as Caroline Duffy, Heidi Higgins, Sharon Hoey, Aoife Kirwan and Rosy Temple (of Magee 1866) participated in an interesting panel discussion about their inspirations hosted by Eddie Shanahan, from the Council of Irish Fashion Designers. A salon-style fashion show unfolded during the afternoon providing guests with inspiration for upcoming race meetings. The designers also offered invaluable styling tips.
