Today feels likes spring has arrived – and while we have a few more brisk weeks left, it’s totally acceptable to get your lighter clothes out again, once you are prepared to layer up!
This morning’s annual Avoca spring/summer show was brimming with the latest stylish clothes. Avoca debuted the new collection to a host of key fashion media and influencers in the picturesque Powerscourt House, Enniskerry. Some well-known faces were in attendance including stylists Cathy O’Connor, Corina Gaffey, Sarah Rickard and Sinead Keenan. Guests were treated to a delicious spring-themed breakfast made from seasonal produce in the elegant marble entrance hall of the house.
The 58-look show featured colourful dresses in playful boho silhouettes, graphic separates with an elevated twist and lots of summery knits in the hottest shades. Among the standout pieces was the opening look: a white embroidered maxi dress by Theaterd, €149.95. The Sunrise Jan smocked summer dress by Never Fully Dressed also took centre stage, €139;, €129.
