WARNING: Distressing content Grim new details of how a mother, father and son were allegedly murdered in Sydney’s west have been shared by police. Min Cho, 49, and her seven-year-old son Benjamin, were found in an alleyway outside a taekwondo studio on Daking St in North Parramatta about 1pm on Tuesday. The grisly discovery was made after Min’s estranged husband Steven Cho, 39, was found with several stab wounds in a townhouse on Watkins Rd in Baulkham Hills on Tuesday about 10.
“We have just lost three people from one family who had their lives taken away in what we allege is a murder.” Doherty added they intend to lay charges against a 49-year-old man, who was an instructor at the martial arts academy in North Parramatta, and is currently under arrest at Westmead Hospital. “What we do know is and what we will allege is the 49-year-old is the only person responsible, and we’ll allege that he’s responsible for the murder of all three victims,” Doherty said.
