The iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro was illuminated with a projected image of a Taylor Swift-inspired T-shirt, as a warm welcome to the pop superstar for her Eras Tour. The projection was organized by her fans and the Christ the Redeemer Archdiocesan Sanctuary.

One of the modern seven Wonders of the World was seen in a t-shirt welcoming Taylor Swift to the country Thursday night. The 125-foot Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro was illuminated with a projected image of a Swift-inspired T-shirt, thanks to a charitable act by her fans and orchestrated by the Christ the Redeemer Archdiocesan Sanctuary.

Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes fulfilled the fans' request to project the likeness of the shirt onto the statue, which went viral on social media.
