Following her final scene in The Marvels, Ms. Marvel actor Iman Vellani opens up about that major moment for Kamala Khan and where it may take her down the line in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the Captain Marvel sequel marked the final MCU Phase 5 movie for 2023, The Marvels featured multiple cameos, with one of them involving Ms. Marvel herself. The MCU movie had the New Jersey heroine cross paths with none other than Kate Bishop herself.
Now that The Marvels has been released, Vellani is able to talk about her final scene in the Phase 5 movie. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Ms. Marvel star reveals she heard rumors of a different Young Avenger character being featured instead of Hailee Steinfeld's Hawkeye. While she didn't reveal the specific character in question, Vellani shared the following about getting to have that special moment in The Marvels: There was a version of this in an old script, but we never shot it
