Revolution is a sequel to 2021's Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which itself was a follow-up to 1983's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
"It's time for a revolution," exclaims Skeletor toward the end of the action-packed one-minute teaser. The Masters of the Universe: Revelation sequel sees enemies approaching Eternia from all sides, including the skies, though this clip shows that He-Man and Teela seem keen to prove themselves up to the task of defending their home.
Several members of the voice cast for the new show have also been announced. This includes creator Kevin Smith's daughter Harley Quinn Smith as Illena, Meg Foster as Motherboard, Keith David as Hordak, and William Shatner in an as-yet-unknown role. Returning Masters of the Universe: Revelation cast member Mark Hamill is also set to play Skeletor, though Gellar has dropped out of the role of Teela and has been replaced by Supergirl's Melissa Benoist.
