‘We Are In Danger’, Obasanjo Calls For More Unity In Nigeria – Channels Television

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called for more unity in Nigeria as he raised an alarm that the nation is in danger.

He stated this on Thursday during a one-day 2019 annual retreat/conference organised by the Association of Chief Audit Executives of Banks in Nigeria which held in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. He believes that if governance is effective, illiteracy will be eradicated among citizens which will in turn, lead to human development.

“The second is population. Our population at independence, we were estimated to be 45 million, but today we are 200 million. By the year 2050, we will be over 400 million.
