Justin Carter dead: Country singer dies after accidental shooting with prop gun

Justin Carter had recently signed to Triple Threat Management, with spokesperson for the company Mark Atherton telling ABC’s Houston affiliate KTRK-TV he had the potential to be the next Garth Brooks. Mark told the publication a gun which was being used as a prop in a music video discharged and killed Justin at his apartment in Houston. He confirmed the shooting was accidental but did not share further details.
