Priscilla Presley was initially 'very concerned about' filmmaker Sofia Coppola writing and directing her newly-released biopic Priscilla, but she quickly gained her trust.
The Brooklyn-born great-grandmother realized Sofia knew what it was like growing up sheltered in the spotlight thanks to her famous father, five-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. In September, Cailee Spaeny was awarded the Venice Film Festival's Volpi Cup for best actress for her portrayal of Presley over the 14 years she was with The King.
Presley - who served as executive producer - noted: 'She was so wanting it to be right...I love her filmmaking. I think she does a great job.
