CCTV footage from a Sydney home has revealed the moment a driver and his surviving passenger fled on foot from a fatal crash in the city’s southwest. The car split in two upon impact with a tree and power pole outside a home on Maxwells Ave in Ashcroft about 10.50am on Monday.
Men flee site of deadly crash that killed two boys. Two boys, sitting in the back seat, died as the back of the car flew off and into the side of a nearby home. One of the boys was thrown from the vehicle during the crash, while the other was held in by his seatbelt. In the footage, which is too graphic to show in full, a dirt bike rider that had been driving behind the vehicle can be seen riding onto the grass and into the debris of the crash.
