Flying hundreds of passengers in one of the world’s largest aircraft is all in a day’s work for Emily Sidoti. The 37-year-old is the first Australian female pilot to captain an A380 fleet for Emirates. “Duties can start anytime around the clock and my flight can take you in any direction of the globe, subject to time zones and rest requirements,” Emily tells 7Life.
” Life in Dubai When she’s at home in Dubai, she enjoys family time at a beach club, lunch with friends at restaurants and doing other activities - including playing tennis, golf, cycling or visiting one of the many gyms accessible with her airline’s premium membership. “I always stay on Dubai time at home as well as away on duty,” she says. “It’s less disruptive to my sleep patterns... and a healthy diet and active lifestyle are essential.
