On the first day of its release, the album racked up an impressive total of 39,653,740 filtered streams across all of its tracks, setting a new record for the biggest debut of any K-pop solo album in Spotify history. All of the songs from “GOLDEN” also made the top 30 of Spotify’s daily Global Top Songs chart. Jungkook’s smash hit pre-release single “” stayed strong at No. 7, followed by his new B-sides “Hate You” at No. 16, “Yes or No” at No. 18, “Please Don’t Change” at No. 23, “Closer to You” at No. 24, “Somebody” at No. 27, “Shot Glass of Tears” at No. 28, and “Too Sad to Dance” at No. 29.
