MPs criticise BBC 'complacency' over £87m revamp of EastEnders

EastEnders is being outperformed by its soap rivals, according to MPs as they criticised the BBC over plans to spend £87 million to revive the show.

Eastenders is dead. Why don't the BBC spend some of that money keeping the tv licence free for our senior citizens. The problem with the BBC is they have to many tv and radio channels. Its about time they cut back. Like the rest of have to

Revamp? This show needs to be axed, not watched it in two years.

The BBC put the licence fees up again, it is a popular program. BBC also pays millions to some individuals a year who are not even worth the fracture of their salaries.
