Five Just Stop Oil protesters have appeared in court charged with storming a performance of Les Miserables in London's West End.

The show at the Sondheim Theatre was brought to a halt at 21:00 GMT on 5 October, Westminster Magistrates' Court heard.District Judge Michael Snow told the defendants cancelling the show cost the theatre around £80,000.Judge Snow said: "I am afraid I am not going to wait for you to get back from India."The trial is due to start at City of London Magistrates' Court on 5 February.
