The Kyle & Jackie O Show hit a major road bump on Friday when a producer unexpectedly quit in the middle of the program. Hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson were presenting their usual morning show when producer Kayla made the shock announcement.
Kyle Sandilands explains why show went off-air. When Kayla made the announcement onto a computer, a surprised Sandilands spilled the coffee he was being handed - causing a short circuit that took the show off the air for almost an hour. Later, broadcasting from a different studio, Sandilands explained to listeners what had happened. “We’re in a weird studio because I knocked coffee all down the computers... Non-binary Kayla came in and gave me the very sad news,” he said.
