For starters, 30k now is the least that can be paid if u at level 1 I assume with FSLC. There's need to 'negotiate' progressive ∆ for mid level workers, they make up a bulk of Nig workers.

Approval is just the start. Next, we need all arms of government to join hands together to put in the necessary policies in place to ensure adherence, especially in the private sector. Let's be honest, even the current minimum wage has a very poor compliance rate.

Now that senate approved 30,000 wage.The next stage is for bosses at various level to start adding to staff JD. He can't be taking 30k for just opening gate again, he must start washing the gate too. So this driver salary will increase, he better had PhD in fuel mgmt.
With the new minimum wage, any responsible corper can saved up to 204k after 12mth. Income: 30k x 12mth = 360k Monthly expenses 13k x 12mth = 156k Monthly savings: 17k x 12mth = 204k. Guys one man one woman to avoid much spending on ladies.

Let’s do a little arithmetic: Let’s just say 15,000 naira for monthly rent and 80,000 naira for one month living expenses + children’s school supplies. If I am correct, this amounts to 65,000 naira deficit. Good luck Nigerians! You have the best economists and govt in the world!

Why is dis being spread like its d solution to all our problems. No maximum wage ? There needs to be a balance in wages. Right now no balance. A senator earns 15m, while a level 0 civil servant earns 30k. Where is d balance. No elected official should earn more than 1m monthly
