Death of a Unicorne Cast Adds 7 as Jenna Ortega A24 Movie Wraps Production

Death of a Unicorne’s ensemble includes Richard E. Grant , Téa Leoni , Will Poulter , Anthony Carrigan , Sunita Mani , Jessica Hynes , and Stephen Park .A24’s official synopsis reads: “A father and daughter accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.”

Death of a Unicorne marks the directorial debut of Alex Scharfman, who also wrote the script. Scharfman is best known for producing Blow the Man Down and Resurrection. Scharfman, Drew Houpt, and Lucas Joaquin will produce for Secret Engine. Additional producers include Tyler Campellone and Lars Knudsen of Square Peg, along with Tim Headington and Theresa Steele Page of Ley Line Entertainment.

Death of a Unicorne is currently in post-production, having filmed over the summer after receiving a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.
