A man has died after a motorcyclist and car collided near Darwin. Just before 5.30am on Tuesday, police were called to a crash between a motorcycle and a car on Finn Rd at Weddell, about 24 kilometres south-east of Darwin.
The car was allegedly attempting to overtake another car on the road when it collided with the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist died at the scene. A male driver was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition. Investigations are ongoing. Anyone with further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
