American businessman Bill Foley has expressed his interest in making a non-controlling investment in Hibernian FC. Foley, who already owns a sporting franchise including a Las Vegas Ice Hockey team and football clubs in England, France, and Australia, has held initial talks with the club. The Scottish FA is considering relaxing the rule that prohibits an individual or organization from having a controlling stake in two clubs simultaneously. Foley's Black Knight's sport and entertainment consortium is interested in referring players in and out of Hibs to other teams under its control.
