In a message to investors, Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala has provided updates on projects it has in development, including Control 2 and the Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes. According to Virtala, Control 2 is still in the proof-of-concept stage, which is where it will remain for a little while longer. 'The plans for this sequel are ambitious, and we have seen good progress both in the designs and in the game build,' Virtala said.
As for other games Remedy has in the works, Condor, a Control co-op multiplayer spin-off, has now moved from the proof-of-concept stage and into the production readiness stage. Virtala says Remedy has 'acquired valuable insights into developing service-based games and are now in a better position to create a game players can engage with for years.
