South Africans are still riding on the success of the Springboks who defeated the All Blacks to become four-time World Cup holders. The team won the RWC final 12-11 and are now making their way to South Africa to show off the Webb Ellis Cup. In the meantime, South Africans are now shifting their attention from the done and dusted RWC to the country’s national soccer team Bafana Bafana and are now wondering if some of the Springboks can’t replace the struggling soccer team players.
This after a video of some Springbok players expertly kicking a rugby ball was shared on X and has now gone viral.Almost the whole of SA rested their faith in the hands of the Springboks who played against New Zealand in the RWC final last Saturday. Some of those fans now believe that they have what it takes to take Bafana Bafana out of the trenches after seeing them handle a rugby ball in a now viral video.
“Looks better than what our footballers can do in our country. Wait! Do we actually have a football team”
