“This happened a few years ago. One of our friends, talented producer, sends me this one beat. The beat is so hot, I do a record to it. But he sent him the same beat. So both records dropped, I don’t know if you noticed, but me and Nasty had two hits on the same beat.
The pair’s African Throne Tour started around August and culminated with the release of their respective albums in September. Nasty’sThe tour’s itinerary included stops in Ghana, Tanzania, England, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Dubai.In collaboration with jewellery maker Shohreh Custom Made, the two rappers created The African Throne Unity piece. The idea was to combine the powers of two award winning rappers into one SA Hip Hop collaborative Diamond pendant.
