Now we can reveal the plot

A veil of Scandinavian mystery has fallen over a seaside town in Northern Ireland, after film makers quietly moved in and cleared out with barely a whisper about their movie.

Locals puzzling over the pronunciation of the new road signs which, they were assured veered towards the Norwegian tones, were amused to see the Flogvollur - the airport - was just 27 kilometres away on the other side of Torshavn, the capital of the North Atlantic Islands. The sign changes and the funding behind them were accepted and welcomed as Donaghadee was once again pinpointed as a filming destination for international artists.

He said: “It’ll have to be seen how this movie is handled and what line the movie makers take. We believe this film needs to be informed and balanced. The Dead From The Sea explores how a murder takes place in a tight knit community as sides pit against each other, with animal welfare campaigners calling for an end to the grind and the traditionalists whose ancestor have slaughtered whales for families on the island for the last 1,000 years.
