Godzilla has appeared in dozens of movies produced both in Japan and in the United States, as the franchise has been in continuous development since 1954. That means that the King of Monsters has faced off against a wide swathe of enemies over the years. Destoroyah, Mothra, and Baragon are only some of his many antagonists.

The trailer features a burning city and Godzilla on the attack. As the King of Monsters destroys countless skyscrapers and butchers civilians, Jet Jaguar is sent to put a stop to his rampage. As they battle, the two are constantly surrounded by exploding buildings, sparks, and laser blasts.
