The African Action Congress in Rivers State has condemned the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission to resume the process in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the state.
But the AAC in a statement on Saturday rejected INEC’s claim “that governorship and state assembly elections results were available for seventeen LGAs”. “As far as this information is concerned, it is manifestly false and the attempt to shroud the LGAs claimed to have results in secrecy is a serious step by INEC to sway the outcome of the process in favour of Gov. Nyesom Wike, its preferred candidate,” the party stated.
However, in its reaction, the Peoples Democratic Party in the state welcomed the pronouncement by INEC on the elections “as substantial representation of the true state of the electoral process before the suspension.
I saw AAC's presidential candidate talking trash on TV which triggered my curiosity to ask where their campaign offices are in Rivers State because I believe that like me, many people never heard of the party not to talk of knowing what its logo looks like
Let inec show the public the result of 17LGs which they said is in their custody. Why hiding it.

INEC has failed in the recent elections.I suggest that online voting be adopted. That will eliminate killings, under age voting, rigging and other unlawful act.If banks can monitor everything about you with BVN,Why can't INEC use the same BVN to monitor this election.corruption

Am so surprised at this AAC. This is a party basking on the image of a disjointed Rivers APC less than 3days to the election. A party that is not even known in the ward of its governorship candidate, whom I wonder has ever supervised a group of 10 people in his career.
