PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Aviation Commission will decide early next month whether to suspend the licence issued to troubled low-cost carrier, MYAirline.
The airline, which suspended operations due to “severe financial challenges” on Oct 12, is expected to submit a written response to a show cause letter issued by Mavcom. “Upon receiving MYAirline’s written representation, Mavcom will evaluate whether the airline should continue as an ASL holder or whether the licence should be suspended or revoked pursuant to Section 43 of the Malaysian Aviation Commission Act 2015,” it said in a statement, adding that it would also probe the airline for other possible ASL breaches.
