A horrifying new cover by Humberto Ramos for Spider-Boy #3 features the monstrous transformation of Bailey Briggs, showing off his arachnid genetics.

A terrifying new cover for Spider-Boy #3 by the talented Humberto Ramos features the monstrous transformation of Bailey Briggs, the new unwanted sidekick of Spider-Man. Bailey debuted in Edge of Spider-Verse as a young spider-hero whose identity and past had apparently been erased from Earth-616, devastating the 10-year-old hero.

Spider-Boy's own solo series debuts this January, and a newly released cover for Spider-Boy #3, from writer Dan Slott and artist Paco Medina, by Humberto Ramos turns Bailey into his most ghastly self, highlighting the young hero's arachnid genetics and dark humor. In a major retcon, Marvel revealed that Monstrosity had actually orchestrated the creation of most of Spider-Man's animal-like villains like Scorpion, Human Fly, and the Lizard. Released preview pages from Spider-Boy #1 show Bailey's horrific transformation into Spider-Boy, infused with spider DNA while trapped in a test tube in Monstrosity's lab.
