A report has found staggering numbers of AI-generated child sex abuse Paedophiles are using artificial intelligence to ‘de-age’ celebrities and create images of them as children. A report by the Internet Watch Foundation has not revealed the names of the celebrities, but said female singers and film stars have mostly been targeted. The charity also found evidence on one dark web forum of users manipulating images of child actors to make them sexual.
Of these, more than half depicted primary school children, 143 depicted children aged three to six, and two were of infants under two years old. Analysts also found an AI model file to allow forum users to manipulate images of a real-world victim, alongside hundreds of images taken of her when subjected to sexual abuse. ‘The testimony of perpetrators themselves in dark web forums also tells you want you want to know,’ said Ms Hargraves. ‘There’s jubilation that fantasies can be made to order.
