Updated March 15, 2019The Lagos State Government has commenced the manual demolition of buildings marked on Freeman street at the Ita Faji area of Lagos Island.The building caved in on March 13, killing about nine people, while about 50 were rescued.

Breaking news for the wrong reasons since 1922¿ A building marked for demolition 4 or so years ago had to be left to kill some, traumatise many and inflict scars seen and unseen on others before making the demolition a news worthy item? Why are we thus blest?
