There's been plenty of time that's passed since Daniel Craig stepped away from the James Bond franchise after being attached to several beloved entries that successfully brought the character into modern blockbuster flicks.

Now, it's time to consider what comes next for the franchise, which apparently could require a little retooling to reflect their new direction.

I think these movies reflect the time they are in, and there's a big, big road ahead reinventing it for the next chapter, and we haven't even begun with that.' In the fall of 2021, Craig made a podcast appearance where he discussed what the next Bond actor might need to take on the project, explaining, 'There's a couple of things I'd say, but I mean, one is don't be shit.
