As Netflix themselves put it:"They're relatable, fly AF, and just happen to be bird women.", the new show from some of the creative minds behind BoJack Horseman, and while there does some initially appear to be some connections between the two shows, show creator Lisa Hanawalt has specifically"Tuca & Bertie is not a spin-off, nor in the same universe as BoJack...
Instead, it will deal with two 30-year-old bird women - voiced by Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong - who are best friends and happen to live in the same apartment complex. It does seem, to us, like a modern sensibility has taken over the idea behind Sex & The City, but turned all of the ladies into cartoon birds.
