Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Star Wars' TV shows have all had very different season finales, with each one's various strengths and weaknesses contributing to a definitive ranking. Since Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the production of Star Wars has expanded predominantly through the TV medium.
Where The Book of Boba Fett's finale faltered though was in its lack of focus. The biggest issue with the show as a whole was its willingness to split time between itself and The Mandalorian. While Din's action-based inclusion in The Book of Boba Fett's season finale was brilliant, the elements involving his reunion with Grogu felt frustratingly out of place and diverted focus too far away from Boba's journey.
5 The Mandalorian, Season 3 - "The Return" Coming in ever so slightly above Ahsoka's finale is the season capper of The Mandalorian season 3. While the overall season of The Mandalorian season 3 was disappointing, the final two episodes redeemed it.
3 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Season 1 - "Part VI" The bronze medal for live-action Star Wars TV finales is awarded to Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is fair to say that the 2022 show disappointed many upon its release who hoped for a tighter, stronger-written show than the one that was eventually released. That said, despite the middling reception to the show’s first five episodes, the season finale was nothing short of fantastic.
