"Full House" actress Lori Loughlin surrendered Wednesday morning to federal authorities in Los Angeles, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said, as fallout from the college admissions scandal continues to spread.
Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to designate their two daughters as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, even though they did not participate in crew, according to court documents released Tuesday.The actress will be booked and is expected to make an initial appearance Wednesday afternoon in federal court in Los Angeles.
This is the tip of the iceberg. It's far bigger than a handful of celebrities. Fine them all big and put it towards the massive student loan debt crisis. Do something to benefit those who worked so hard and are stuck in the madness of unscrupulous student loans.
