A young Adelaide man has faced court charged over the death of his friend on a boys’ trip to Melbourne earlier this year. Quinn McPherson, 20, was arrested at his worksite at Magill on Wednesday morning and charged with manslaughter over the death of his 20-year-old friend on May 13.
Young Adelaide man accused of killing his mate. Police allege the two men were wrestling in an apartment on La Trobe St in Melbourne’s CBD when the victim lost consciousness. Paramedics attempted to revive the Darlington man but he died. Two other Adelaide men also inside the apartment at the time were not involved, police said. McPherson faced Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday evening and was released on bail.
