Nissan continues to release the first images and details of its upcoming concepts that will be revealed in full at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. Following the digital reveal of theconcepts, the Japanese automaker has now unveiled the Hyper Tourer concept, and it looks like it's a minivan built for the next century.
Starting with its design, the Hyper Tourer blends smooth body panels and sharp character lines which demonstrate traditional Japanese design in the modern era. It is then complemented by a distinct side profile that flows diagonally from the front to the rear fender for better aerodynamic performance, as well as emphasizing its distinct shape.
Open the sliding doors and the Hyper Tourer greets occupants into a lounge-like interior. This was made possible thanks to a flat floor that houses the solid-state batteries. Back to the cabin, the Hyper Tourer features a unique set of front that can swivel 360 degrees which can face those seated in the back. Since the occupants can face each other, the vehicle benefits from a fully autonomous driving system.
