Director Fede Álvarez has revealed one crucial reaction to his upcoming new Alien movie: that of franchise creator Ridley Scott. Álvarez was doing a panel with Guillermo del Toro during this year's DGA Latino Summit, where he gave an official update on his"Alien: Romulus" film, revealing that he has a cut of the film that was finished enough to screen for Scott.
"I wanted him to see it before anybody," Álvarez told del Toro."And everyone gave me the head's up that Ridley is really tough. He's really tough, particularly if it has something to do with his movies. He was really tough on Blade Runner , which I thought was a masterpiece, and he had issues with it because it's really hard for him because it's his work. I asked him about the new 'Top Gun' and he's like 'meh.
