In a recent interview to promote action thriller, Moscow Mission, which is showing in Singapore, the 62-year-old said he would continue to work hard because he did not want to set a bad example. Lau, who married former Malaysian model Carol Chu, 57, in 2008, has an 11-year-old daughter named Hanna. His years of contribution to the film industry were recognised with a Special Tribute Award at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival in September.Asked by reporters if it was hard to be a model actor, Lau merely said: “Isn’t that what all actors should do?”
