A Brisbane father’s hopes of treating his life-threatening cancer are in limbo amid the conflict in Israel. A medical centre in Tel Aviv is one of only two in the world offering a revolutionary treatment for Clinton Parker’s cancer, which has now been deemed untreatable in Australia.

Parker, from Ashgrove, has been raising funds for the treatment but recent attacks by the Hamas terrorist group and subsequent retaliation have put his plans in doubt — especially with the hospital now treating wounded from the conflict. But Parker says he is prepared to “brave the missiles” if necessary — and if flying to Israel is an option. “I’m not saying it’s not without danger,” Parker told 7NEWS.com.au.
