The performance by latest Marvel movie, 'Captain Marvel,' is a welcomed sight for a slow 2019 box office.

That's the third-largest March opening-weekend in movie history.Carol Danvers didn't just kick some Skrull butt this weekend, but also internet trolls.

Despite the efforts by some online who tried to bring down Marvel's first standalone female superhero movie by flooding sites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb with negative reviews and comments so the movie's audience score would be low,"Captain Marvel" powered through to earn an estimated $153 million its opening weekend.
