Vanessa Amorosi has denied gifting a property in Melbourne's south-east, which is at the centre of a legal battle, to her mother Joyleen Robinson
The singer-songwriter argues she is entitled to full ownership of the assets, saying they were purchased with the income from her music career which boomed when she was in her teens and early 20s.Ms Amorosi is suing her mother, Joyleen Robinson, seeking to become the sole owner of a 20-acre Narre Warren property purchased in 2001 for $650,000. The title is evenly split between the pair.
Ms Amorosi also rejected claims there had been an agreement that her mother could buy the "dream home" off her for $650,000.Ms Robinson denies the claims made against her. She is yet to give evidence in the judge-only civil trial, which is expected to continue into next week.
