Updated March 10, 2019The Kano State police command has warned residents of the state to allow the Independent National Electoral Commission to finish collating results and declare the winners before any celebrations get underway.READ ALSO:Abdullahi said that the command has observed some “political gladiators” in the state have commenced celebrations in some places.
He noted that heeding the warning will help maintain peace and harmony, and will help to curtail any breach of peace within the state. The Kano police spokesman further warned that any person or persons engaging in such celebrations leading to a breach of peace will be arrested and prosecuted as provided in the law.

Celebrations at the PU is lawful, given the fact that it's same inecnigeria (staff) that declare results at that level. These warnings have sinister motives. Of course, this is Nigeria, and anything can happen between the Polling Unit and the Collation Center.

INEC is the only body recognised by law to announce election results. After which whoever is not satisfied should follow the laid down procedure of going to court. Jubilation before INEC announcement is putting the cart before the horse. It can only cause confusion!
Pls we don't want violence protest in Kano and Kaduna. The results shouldn't be tampered with. No matter what. Nobody is too big to lose elections.

He is right. It is inec that determines who wins the election; not the electorate. There are candidates who are too big to lose election. Ganduje and El-Rufai who are too close to Aso Rock cannot lose election. Inec will not allow it to happen.
So they can doctor it the same way they doctored the presidential and national Assembly results?
