Jake Marlowe was reported missing after the attack on the music festival A British man who was working at a music festival attacked by Hamas has died, his family has confirmed. A statement released by his parents, Lisa and Michael Marlowe, said: ‘We are heartbroken to have to inform you the crushing news that our son Jake has been confirmed dead in southern Israel.
His death has also been confirmed by the Israeli Embassy in London, who said: ‘UK national Jake Marlowe, now confirmed dead in southern Israel. Repatriation plans being put in place.’ At least 260 bodies have been recovered from the festival site. It’s currently believed there are 17 UK nationals, including children, either dead or missing in Israel. Nathaniel Young, 20, who attended the same school as Jake, was serving in the Israeli army when he was killed during Hamas’s attack.
