Having safely returned to India, Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, who recently found herself amidst the ongoing political and military conflict between Israel and Palestine, has recounted her harrowing experience in the war-stricken region. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama star had traveled to Israel to attend the HAIFA Film Awards, an event of international prestige. However, her trip took an unforeseen twist as the conflict intensified, leaving her stranded with film crew and Israeli co-actors.
She further added, “We were woken up by the deafening sounds of bombs going off, a blaring siren, and complete utter panic as we were all rushed down into a ‘shelter’ in the basement of our hotel. It was only when we emerged from in there, after what seemed like an endless wait, that we learnt that Israel was under attack. Nothing could have prepared us for this news.”Upon returning to India, Nushrratt Bharuccha expressed profound gratitude to the embassies of both countries for their support.
