The Iron Heart star Richard Gutierrez, who plays the lead character Apollo, has promised viewers that they would end the action-oriented show “on a high note.”

The cast members and directors of ABS-CBN’s The Iron Heart grace the media conference for the final stretch of the action-packed series. From left are Lance Pimentel, Louise Abuel, Christian Vazquez, Dimples Romana, directors Wang Yan Bin, Lester Pimentel Ong and Ian Loreños, Richard Gutierrez, Jake Cuenca, Igi Boy Flores, Althea Ruedas, Ryza Cenon, Lou Yanong, Cay Kuijpers, and Miko Raval. The Richard-led show is coming to an end this Oct. 13.

He thanked the media, ABS-CBN, Star Creatives, co-actors, producers, directors and everyone for the support that was given to the series. “We all worked hard for this and now, we are happy to announce that we are ending Iron Heart on a high note,” he declared. “I really had a great experience and I learned a lot from them. It was also my first time to do locked-in taping in Iloilo, away from my child. It was challenging for me, but I finished and I gained new friends.”

Richard Gutierrez as Apollo and Jake Cuenca as Eros are taking viewers to Japan where the final mission of the former’s lead character will transpire in the culmination of the hit primetime series. Richard has promised that the show will end on a high note. Miko Raval, for his part, thanked Star Creatives and the directors because he was given the chance to play the character of Draco. “Memorable for me like what Igi said, nagsisimula yan sa breakfast. Tapos darating kayo sa set. You do your stuff. I’ve done action before but this one is really different for me. Talagang ibang level yung choreography dito and yun nga they are masters of their craft.”

“We’ve been doing hard things for like a year now. It’s not always fun. We had our disagreements. There were not-so-good conversations, too, but at the end of the day, we made it and we overcame whatever challenges we had.” And because of the hardships that they went through, Lance said they built a stronger bond.

Besides the cast, Dimples also cited the crew, the stuntmen and stuntwomen who were part of the series, especially the one who doubled for her, MJ. “Sa init, sa lamig, we are like… it’s a marriage of different kinds of people. It’s really a very nice mélange of people who came together to celebrate one another and all are gifts together.”
