Did you make it ?

Instead she became an actress. Someone who spends their life pretending to be someone else, usually for shit money.

What is wrong with being a secretary? Are secretaries some lesser form of life.

She says the worst thing anyone ever said to her was that she could be a secretary. I have found that secretaries, and I believe they are now called administrative assistants, are the backbone of offices and make a very decent salary now. How condescending. BTW, who is she?

And thanks God you are not. Imagine🤢

Really? That sort of nonsense stopped in the 80s and there was hardly such a thing as a 'secretary' by the 2000s when she left school.

I was given car park attendant

Does she not feel she could have been?

In the 1960s my school careers adviser told me to take CSE woodwork and RE (religious education) and become an undertaker. Looking back it was probably sound advice.

It's strange how at critical times in our younger lives we are either faced with a bored, low paid, nonentity like career adviser handing out rubbish advice or someone quite unexpected who guides us with illuminating foresight towards a path which eminently suits us.

Jessica Raine has disdain for secretaries

Was he right?
