Driving down a West Australian highway, Brooke McIntosh thought about ending her own life. The 27-year-old’s mind was clouded as she navigated one of her lowest points in August 2022.
Brooke’s message after running 1600km from the Pilbara to Perth for mental health awareness. “I thought, ‘What would happen if I just had a car crash? What would happen if I was just no longer here?’,” she told 7NEWS.com.au. Minutes later, the athlete and motivational speaker, who was on her way to give a talk to school students, lost control of her car.
