Lucy Moore, 19, says she was unfairly targeted by police at the Hidden music festival in Sydney Olympic Park

A woman says she was strip-searched and interrogated for over an hour at a Sydney music festival, only to be subsequently banned from the venue despite having no drugs or alcohol in her possession, in an incident that is now being reviewed by NSW Police.

A spokesman for NSW police said: "After receiving a complaint, this matter will now be subject to an internal review and it would therefore be inappropriate to comment further." "This wasn't the case at [Hidden] over the weekend. Not only did I see other people being searched, during my search the door was left half open and only 'blocked' by the small female cop. I could easily see outside which means that attendees and the male cops outside could have easily seen in as well.

Another victim... move on princess

this never happen to me because I am not pretty at all.

This is another example of abuse of power by police this needs to be investigated but no doubt nswpolice will get away with this stripped search should not be allowed

If the young lady's version is correct the police officers actions should be investigated and if found to be illegal, action taken against them and the lady compensated

What makes cops behave so superior? Is it any wonder people hate cops? Add the burocracy and you have a dumb combination. Lucy, take them to court. You will win. Hopefully whoever did this to you will be stood down.

This is a poorly organised exercise and infringes on common decency. When these uniforms are put on common sense and decency should not be thrown aside.

interesting, becoming like America, see if this gets swept under the rug

I’m sure there’s more to the story than her story

Harden up Mary! If you want to dance with the devil, you give up your safe place! Personally, I’m happy to see you locked up for life for drug possession!

This young lady should be advised to forget about this and ‘move on’ as the saying goes. She’ll open a can of worms. She’ll be buying herself the wrong sort of fame (or infamy) and a world of pain.

There’s obviously more to this story🙄

This is bullshit, its just police harassment.

GladysB this is not OK. The young woman should be given 6-figure compo. Disgraceful.
